I have been told that the best event of the year is Wassail Festival that took place last weekend. Of course we had to attend. There are 25 shops downtown Columbus that stay open late and serve their wassail recipes. You get ballots and then cast your vote for the best one. It was a lot of fun...we had some really great wassail and some that was not so good...
One of the stores I have grown to love here is called Hollyhocks. We went buy to say hi and to make a ginger bread house...the engineer was the last to be done and he impressed everyone! He even used skittles to prop up the roof!
