remember why we remember

It would just be wrong for me not to recognize Memorial Day. It means a long weekend for many of us, but for others it means a whole LOT more. This picture really sums it all up for me. I hope that while you are cooking out, at a picnic, or at the beach, you take a moment to remember what this day is really all about.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to all our men and women who have sacrificed SO much to keep us safe at night.

Thank you to the men and women who are out there right now not having a long weekend and who are missing their loved ones.

Thank you to the families who let them serve and who sacrifice so much. So. So. Much. It does NOT go unappreciated.
